VIP Seat — Milano (Single)
A fully electromechanical single VIP seat delivering flat-bed comfort and Italian craftsmanship for large-cabin business jets.
The Milano is Iacobucci HF Aerospace's single-occupant VIP seat for large-cabin and ultra-long-range business jets — aircraft such as the BBJ, ACJ, and comparable widebody VIP conversions where stand-alone throne-style seating defines the cabin layout. It is built around a single-backrest structure with a coordinated cradle-recline mechanism: as the backrest tilts, the seat pan angles simultaneously, distributing recline forces evenly and converting the seat into a continuous flat surface for sleeping. The legrest deploys and extends to close the gap between seat and ottoman, giving an uninterrupted lie-flat zone. All primary movements — recline angle, headrest position (vertical, horizontal, and tilt), legrest travel — are managed electromechanically via a software-controlled handset, with factory-programmable pre-set positions allowing crew or passenger to move between upright, lounge, and full-flat with a single touch. Connectivity is integrated: dual PC power outlets, USB charging, and a built-in screen mount are standard fitment; a privacy divider and aisle-side mood lighting complete the cabin zone. The Milano is manufactured under Iacobucci's DOA (Design Organisation Approval) with EASA Part 21 Sub G production and EN9100 certification, meaning the seat ships with the airworthiness documentation required for direct installation on certificated aircraft. For GCC operators specifying VIP transport, BBJ, or ACJ completions, the Milano's combination of Italian bespoke finish and full EASA-certified airworthiness documentation simplifies the STC integration path.
