Lantal's curtain and sewing service combines fabric production with cut-and-sew manufacturing, delivering fully finished, ready-to-install cabin dividers and seat-back components direct to airlines and MRO operators. The product scope covers cabin-class divider curtains, galley and door-area curtains, and seat-back literature pockets. Curtain fabrics are woven at Lantal's Swiss facility and available in wool, polyamide mesh, and composite constructions. Finished curtains are permanently flame-retardant to FAR/CS 25.853 and meet the smoke and toxicity guidelines published by Airbus (ABD 0031) and Boeing (BSS 7238). Pleating is offered in both steam-pleated and sewn-pleated configurations; sound-absorbing versions using higher-mass wool constructions are a further option where cabin acoustic treatment is specified. Literature pockets are produced to the UN-ECE-R118 Appendix 7 and 8 fire standard and held in warehouse stock for short-lead-time replenishment — a practical advantage for operators managing cabin configuration consistency across large mixed-age fleets where individual pocket replacements are a routine maintenance item. The sewing operation is carried out under Lantal's EASA Part 21 Subpart G Design Organisation Approval, which authorises the company to develop, test, and certify ready-to-install interior products. Each delivery can be accompanied by an EASA Form One, removing the certification burden from the airline's own engineering organisation. This is particularly relevant for GCC carriers and MRO operators who may otherwise need to source conformity documentation from multiple European subcontractors.
