EN 137 Type 2 SCBA standard for GCC airport firefighters.
The MSA M1 SCBA is a modular open-circuit self-contained breathing apparatus rated to EN 137:2006 Type 2 and NFPA 1981. Standard configuration uses a 6.8 L / 300 bar composite cylinder delivering ~60 minutes of air. The alphaHUD heads-up display inside the mask shows cylinder pressure at a glance; alphaSCOUT telemetry module relays status to incident command. Standard issue for airport firefighters at DXB, AUH, DOH, JED and RUH.
