EngineWise Plus (marketed under the EngineWise Fixed designation in Pratt & Whitney's commercial programme portfolio) occupies the mid-tier of the EngineWise service range. Where the Comprehensive program locks in a rate per flight hour across the engine's life, Plus delivers cost predictability at the shop-visit level: workscope and pricing are agreed on a module-by-module fixed-price basis before the engine enters the facility, removing the time-and-materials billing exposure that makes transactional overhauls financially difficult to plan.

The program is suited to operators with less uniform fleets or those who want OEM involvement in each overhaul without committing to a decades-long RPFH contract. Workscope is set at the module level — fan/compressor, combustor, high-pressure turbine, low-pressure turbine, gearbox — and prices are fixed for each combination, so the airline knows its liability before the engine is inducted. Parts are sourced through Pratt & Whitney's supply chain, ensuring access to OEM-quality material and the latest service bulletins and engineering dispositions.

Digital support through the EngineWise Connect portal remains available, and operators retain the option to upgrade to Comprehensive coverage as fleet requirements evolve. For mid-size carriers in the GCC and wider Middle East that manage fleets of moderate size and prefer event-driven maintenance financing rather than continuous hour accumulation, Plus strikes an accessible balance between OEM backing and commercial flexibility. The program supports the same GTF and legacy P&W engine variants as the broader EngineWise portfolio.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Mid-size airline operators wanting OEM fixed-price overhaul certainty without a full RPFH lifecycle commitment
  • Operators with mixed or transitional fleets where per-event pricing is more practical than a continuous hour-rate model
  • Maintenance controllers who need to lock in overhaul costs ahead of budget cycles
  • Lessors and their airline customers seeking transparent, comparable per-visit pricing for aircraft on short-term leases
  • GCC and ME carriers scaling narrowbody GTF fleets incrementally and wanting to step up to full fleet management as the fleet matures
