IRONCLAD Fence Alarm System

IRONCLAD is RBtec's flagship fence-mounted intrusion detection system: a stainless-steel-braided vibration sensor cable attached directly to the fence fabric, paired with a two-zone LPU-402 analyzer that detects cutting, climbing, lifting or jumping attempts along the fence line. Three layers of false-alarm filtration — an intrusion-frequency detection algorithm, automatic real-time threshold adjustment and per-zone sensitivity tuning (22 levels on board, 500 via software) — keep nuisance alarms from wind and weather to a minimum. A single cable run protects fences up to 3 m (10 ft) high, and each processor handles up to 600 m (2,000 ft) of sensor cable across two independently monitored zones. The 6 mm metallic-silver armored cable is supplied in pre-cut spools of 75 m, 152 m and 305 m (250, 500 and 1,000 ft) and suits chain link, welded mesh, palisade, concertina coil and barbed-wire fences. Six plug-and-deploy kit configurations (RB-IROC1Z250 through RB-IROC2Z1000) pair a field analyzer with 75-610 m of sensor line in single- or dual-zone layouts; installation needs no training, certification or special tools, calibration is simple, and the sensor cable is maintenance-free with a two-year warranty. Electronics are housed in a NEMA 4X / IP-66 enclosure (24 x 19.5 x 7 cm, 1 kg) rated -40°C to +105°C and up to 98% non-condensing humidity, powered from 12-24 VDC at 300 mA. Two-layer surge protection with gas discharge devices on all inputs, outputs and communication lines guards against lightning. Integration is plug-and-play: eight dry-contact relay outputs (NO/NC, 1 A @ 12 VDC) plus dedicated tamper and power-outage relays retrofit to any burglar alarm panel, DVR/CCTV or access-control system, with four supervised auxiliary inputs for gate magnets, contacts, microwave or motion sensors and USB-C (optional RS485 or IP) communication to a PC. A full accessory line covers real-world perimeters: stainless-steel cable ties with installation tools, end-of-line terminations, weatherproof splice/extension units, gate connectors and a sliding-gate kit. RBtec lists solar farms and photovoltaic plants, water/electrical/utility substations, vehicle and equipment storage areas, commercial and industrial parks, logistics and self-storage facilities and communication towers among target sites — the same cut-and-climb detection RBtec deploys on airport perimeter fencing.
