SecureSync 2400 Resilient Time & Frequency Synchronization Platform
GNSS-disciplined master clock with jamming/spoofing detection and rubidium holdover — one traceable UTC reference for the whole airport campus
SecureSync 2400 is Safran Trusted 4D's flagship resilient time and frequency synchronisation platform — a 1U rack-mount, GNSS-disciplined master clock engineered for critical infrastructure that cannot afford to lose time when satellite signals are jammed, spoofed or blocked. A multi-constellation receiver (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC; single-band L1 or multi-band L1/L5) disciplines a choice of seven internal oscillators, from TCXO up to low-phase-noise rubidium: with the rubidium option the unit holds 1PPS time error to 1 microsecond after 24 hours of complete GNSS loss, and the High Stability Oscillator (HSO) option reaches 8 microseconds. The optional Interference Detection Suite (SS-OPT-BSH, built on Safran's BroadShield algorithms) detects jamming and spoofing in the incoming GNSS signal, alarms over SNMP traps and email, and automatically drops the compromised reference while the system rides through on holdover or a secondary input.
As a network grandmaster, SecureSync serves NTP v2/v3/v4, SNTP, NTP Anycast and PTP v2 (IEEE 1588-2019) with default, power, telecom, enterprise and 802.1AS profiles; scaled with 1204-32 option cards it sustains up to 2 million PTP requests per second across up to 12x 1GbE and 8x 10GbE ports, and the WROX card adds nanosecond-level White Rabbit time transfer. More than 40 option cards cover IRIG AM/DCLS, HAVE QUICK, NMEA, frequency and phase interfaces in 2-slot (2402) or 6-slot (2406) chassis. For an airport campus this is the single reference that keeps AODB and flight-information systems, CCTV/video-security recording, access control, radio and DAS infrastructure, network logging and electrical substations on one traceable UTC — and keeps them there through the GNSS interference events increasingly reported in aviation.
It is the only time server with a FIPS 140-3 certified cryptomodule at the heart of its authentication and cryptographic functions, with dual hot-swap power options and a five-year limited warranty.
