Sanad — the Abu Dhabi engine MRO owned by Mubadala — performs full shop visits, module repair and on-wing support on the GE GEnx-1B engine that powers the Boeing 787-8/9/10. Capability covers performance restoration, HPT / LPT module work, fan and booster refurbishment, accessory gearbox overhaul and test-cell acceptance. Sanad operates under a GE Aerospace branded service agreement (BSA) with priority access to GE tooling, parts and engineering data, and is the only GEnx-1B shop in the GCC, serving Etihad's 787 fleet plus regional 787 operators looking to keep heavy maintenance close to base.
