Senstar LM100

Senstar LM100 is the world's first 2-in-1 perimeter intrusion detection and deterrence system, combining fence-mounted accelerometer sensing with high-performance LED security lighting. Each luminaire contains an accelerometer that detects attempts to cut, climb or lift the fence fabric and reports the intrusion location - pinpointed to the nearest luminaire - to the site security system, with EDAPT adaptive processing handling background environmental noise. The system responds instantly by switching on or strobing light at the exact point of attack, triggering warnings and alarms and cueing cameras while the intruder is still outside the protected area. Luminaires deliver 53 lux (163 lumens) of uniform, full-spectrum illumination (CRI 70+) in a 120-degree downward pattern along the fence line, improving camera dynamic range and colour rendition at night versus the CRI 20-50 of high-pressure sodium lighting. LED life is 50,000+ hours and each luminaire draws only 2.5 W - up to 95% less energy than conventional perimeter lighting - with instant on/off and schedule or lights-off-until-intrusion operation. Units communicate over an encrypted (128-bit AES, 2.4 GHz) self-healing wireless mesh with up to 100 luminaires per gateway, so only a single low-voltage power wire runs along the fence. Mounting is by worm-gear clamps to existing fence posts at any height, or flanges on walls. Rated -40 to +70 deg C with 100% condensing humidity tolerance, the LM100 suits harsh coastal and desert perimeters. The IDA-certified warm-white option meets dark-sky guidelines, making it appropriate near airports, residential areas and nature reserves. The NEMA 4X gateway provides ten programmable I/O ports (expandable via 4-port cards) for direct alarm-panel integration, or connects via Ethernet/PoE, RS-422 or fiber to the Silver Network shared with FlexZone, OmniTrax and UltraWave, with Network Manager conveying alarms to Senstar Symphony or third-party security management systems.
