Turkish Technic's Engine and APU Services unit provides shop-visit maintenance, repair, and overhaul for the powerplants that drive the most common commercial narrowbody and widebody fleets. On the engine side, current active capabilities cover CFM56-3/5/7B, IAE V2500, GE90, and CF6-80E1 series, with test-cell operations for CFM56 and V2500 variants conducted in collaboration with Turkish Engine Center (TEC), a joint-venture affiliate with Pratt & Whitney. Services range from module-level repair — such as VSV bushing replacement, top-casing work, LPT blade swaps, and AGB/TGB replacements — through full shop visits with performance restoration. Looking ahead, a new Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84/97 and Trent 7000 facility broke ground at Istanbul Airport in January 2026, targeting 200 shop visits per year and operational by end-2027; talks are also in progress with CFM for a LEAP-1A/1B shop. APU work is performed in-house on Honeywell GTCP131-9A/9B units fitted to 737 NG and A320-family aircraft, and on the APS3200 (A319/A320/A321), servicing approximately 120 APUs annually. Turkish Technic holds Pratt & Whitney Authorized and Honeywell Licensed Repair Station status for APUs, and provides 24/7 AOG engine-change and QEC/LRU support. For GCC operators with mixed-engine fleets — particularly 737 NG/MAX, A320-family, and 777 variants — the breadth of approved types under one commercial agreement reduces vendor fragmentation and allows consolidated engine-management programmes.
