Emirates Engineering Line Maintenance is the forward-deployed maintenance arm of Emirates Engineering, operating continuously at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) alongside a network of 22 outstations spanning Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Indian Subcontinent, Europe, and North America. The division delivers both scheduled line checks and unscheduled maintenance interventions, functioning as the first point of technical response when an aircraft goes aircraft-on-ground (AOG) during turnaround or transit.

The service covers a wide cross-section of narrowbody and widebody types: Airbus A319/320/321, A330-200, A340-300/500/600, A380-800, and Boeing B737 series (including MAX), B747-400, B777 all series, and B787-800/900. Engine coverage spans CFM56, V2500, CF6-80, PW4000, Trent 700/500/900/1000, RB211, GE90, GEnx, and LEAP powerplants. For third-party airlines, formal technical agreements cover line support to over thirty carriers globally.

Scheduled scope includes A380 and B777 service checks; unscheduled scope extends to APU changes, thrust reverser changes, inlet cowl replacement, fuel tank entries, IFE fault rectification, and complex troubleshooting. Aircraft Cabin Maintenance — a distinct sub-division — deploys over 180 cleaning staff and 100 engineers to maintain cabin standards and IFE systems across the Emirates fleet.

Regulatory approvals held include GCAA CAR-145, EASA Part-145 (DXB as a certified EASA 145 station), UK-CAA Part-145, CAA Singapore Part-145, CAA Thailand Part-145, Kuwait CASR Part-145, Korea MOLIT Part-145, and IOSA registration. For GCC procurement teams sourcing line maintenance at DXB or at hub outstations, Emirates Engineering represents one of the few providers capable of covering the full widebody spectrum — A380 to B777 — under a single regulatory umbrella, with the staffing depth to absorb AOG events without displacing scheduled work.
