HAECO Engine MRO is a multi-facility service spanning complete engine shop visits, module-level repair, on-wing inspections, quick-turn hospital maintenance, and test cell validation. The group operates through four primary engine locations: HAESL (Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited) in Hong Kong for Rolls-Royce Trent variants; HAECO Engine Services Xiamen for GE90 overhauls; and HAECO Global Engine Support facilities in Amsterdam and Dallas covering CFM56, LEAP, and additional engine families.

HAESL is a joint venture between HAECO and Rolls-Royce, specialising in full overhaul of the Trent 700, Trent 800, and Trent XWB powerplants. The facility operates a test cell rated to 130,000 lb thrust, holds full Trent XWB-84 overhaul capability, and can provide module change and partial repair services on the Trent XWB-97. In-house repair self-sufficiency exceeds 95% for Trent platforms, reducing reliance on external component suppliers and compressing shop visit cycle time.

For GE90 overhaul, HAECO Engine Services Xiamen maintains more than 400 GE90 repair schemes, with approximately 75% of component work retained in-house — a capability depth relevant to airlines and lessors managing Boeing 777-200ER/-300ER/-200LRF fleets.

The Dallas Global Engine Support facility, opened February 2025 in a 290,000 sq ft building with over 36 maintenance bays, adds LEAP-1A/1B and CFM56 hospital-level capability to serve North American and globally-routed narrowbody operators. The combined group has overhauled more than 5,500 engines across all facilities and holds EASA and FAA approvals, with 24/7 AOG on-wing support available worldwide.

For GCC carriers operating A330, A350, B777, or A320-family fleets, HAECO's engine MRO network offers both full overhaul and rapid on-wing intervention without routing to a European or US facility exclusively.
